  1. Unstressed /o/ > /u/
  2. Metathesis: CRV > RCV (where C represents any consonant, R any liquid consonant, and V any vowel)
  3. Introduction of pitch accent: Stressed syllables gain high tone, others remain low

  5. /ei/ > /i:/
  6. /eu/ > /y:/
  7. /ɣ/ > /g/
  8. /dʒ/ > /ʒ/
