Moogle

Moogles are a kind, highly intelligent, and highly magical race. They are about two feet tall, and have a large furry pom pom on a single antenna on their head. Their ears vary from a mouse-like roundness to a rabbit-like elongation. They have small bat wings on their back, though they are not used to fly. Their innate ability to float at will keeps them about four feet off the ground so they can talk face-to-face with those they meet.
Little is known about the Moogle race and any inquiry is met with the reply: "Kupo" which seems to mean anything they want it to mean.  It is commonly used as a greeting or a farewell, but they use it as a response to just about anything.  Some who interact with them come away with the impression that 'kupo' is the only word they can speak, but this is not necessarily true, at least some Moogles are entirely fluent in other languages; they just don't speak very much.
