Harbotle Family

Evered and Emma Harbotle, a human couple, moved into Crows Nest when they were newlyweds. About 7 months after their wedding, Emma gave birth to their son, Hughe. Evered works on his father's fishing boat and is often gone for long stretches of time, leaving Emma to raise Hughe alone for most of the time. They have talked about Evered getting a different job, but there are few opportunities. Emma tries to look on the bright side of things, but she is beginning to feel disheartened as she spends more time alone with her energetic boy. 
Hughe is 4 years old and is becoming more and more difficult for Emma to control on her own. He is strong for his age, and will climb the tallest things without the least bit of fear. He explores the world around him to the fullest, including opening the doors to people's houses without knocking. So far he has been cute enough to get away with it, but some people are starting to get annoyed at him.
