River coming through town - on edge of lake with wharves of stilts.
Ostric Cantos: Male Halfling Fighter, LN. Str 16, Dex 13, Con 12, Int 9, Wis 10, Cha 10. Ostric is rough in appearance, with gray hair and brown eyes. He wears plate armor and wields a greatsword. Ostric lost his shadow to an air nymph.

The Blue Chain
The inn is a single storey stone-walled building, with a smooth stone floor. A blue chain hangs over the hearth. Accommodations consist of a mezzanine with a dozen wooden cots.
The innkeeper is a thin male Half-Elf named Shard. He is a retired historian, and is sometimes visited by powerful wizards and sorcerers - he often works over at the library.
