The Dark War
The Dark War happened 155 years ago (1095AG) in Gert, and what remains is The Scar.
In the Dark War, the Demons came out of Ru'Mal and Ru'Than, at the same time the Devils force there way out of The Hells - after centuries of fighting each other, some of the Devils and the Demons banded together to take over the Prime Material Plane. They pushed through the entrances to the Underdark. They sought out willing souls to help them in their endeavour. The Humanoids did not want to give in easily. After much death and corruption, at Wallow the people of Malnax took a stand. They fought to send the Devils and Demons back in the Underdar and The Hells, where they came from.

"They kept coming and coming in droves. These creatures of The Hells and the Underdark - each more frightening and viscous than the last. We, those of us still on our feet fighting, fought on despite exhaustion - for what choice did we have? It was then our unexpected reinforcements arrived. The Angels came from Celestia, or other creatures flew in on Dragons' back - these huge beasts carrying people all the way from Kilt and Jingré Regions. The joy and relief in my heart I thought it would have burst, but for the blood dripping down my face from the claw marks."
