The War of Wings

Before being hunted by the Footfall on Malnax and then on Fogi Island - the Aarakocra took a big hit to their population in the battle called the War of Wings - between Aarakocra along side Air Genasi, against Fallen Aasimar with feral Tieflings.
Both sides tried to encourage the Winged Fey to join the sky skirmishes. The Fey hid further in the Feywild Expanse of Kutloc.

The skirmishes started slowly in parts of the Fogi Island. The few Fallen Aasimar took offence over actions of some boastful Aarakocra. In another area, A lone feral Tiefling stole from an Air Genasi family. The races continued to treat each other in such manners. The word spread the feud grew across most of Esau.

The Fallen Aasimar with feral Tieflings forced many of the Aarakocra out of Fogi Island (later a clan moved there, as it was an unexpected place to find any).

The War of the Wings took place in the South-West tip of the Northern Isle. In a small village that no longer exists, a place about 2 hours along the coast of Reece - closer to Fogi Island. The land is still a barren field, we no birds will land.

Most of the records and stories of the batlle, remain only on Tedic.
