Warlin the Court Jester for Queen Áyne.

A Jester tends to purposefully do silly and rather dumb things to try and attract the idea of them being a defenseless, useless, and harmless patron. They are trained to speak in lies and charm the crowd with their speech pattern.

Facial Features

Always wears full face paint. His eyebrows, lips and cheeks are usually highlighted in bold colours. It makes it hard to tell his emotional state and he is good at hiding any unwanted facial expressions.

Apparel & Accessories

Warin wears a Jester's outfit of a waistcoat and matching short cape of a singular bright colour. Under this waistcoat, Warin wore a long tunic, that flaired out at bottom to twirl as he jiggles, spins and dances - made from motley colours, usually bright and patterned irregularly. On his legs, he wears tight breeches which were of a similarly bright colours, with yellow boots to match his hair on his feet. On his head, he wears an eccentric hat in a motley pattern.

Specialized Equipment

Warlin has a jambiya, which is a specific type of dagger with a short curved blade with a medial ridge - it is cleverly hidden within the folds of his jester outfit.

Employment

Warlin has been the Court Jester for Queen Áyne for 200 years. She took time to trust him, but now he is one of Queen Áyne most trusted staff.

Before serving in the Fey Sovereign's court, Warlin was a messenger for the Tictom Fret school. He saved up enough favours to practice trickster spells and be an apprentice to the previous Court Jester Krisly - but only outside the Fey Queen's presence.

Warin has a dark brown and white pet rat named Petti, who runs along his arms and does a few tricks to entertain children. Warin does cast seeming on Petti on special occasions.

Speech

Warin's voice is giggling and medium pitched. He uses a clear voice unless taunting a Fey Noble. Usually talks in rhyming and riddles - unless ordered by The Fey Queen to "speak plain".
