Dulicta

Dulicta is a goddess of war, slaughter and conquest.    She is worshipped in many forms across the furthest reaches of Esharra. The most violent Vojaki war clans revere her as a herald of battle and master of mounted combat; while the desert tribes of southern Mazkras and Ostrekad worship her as a fearsome enemy of civilisation, bringing destruction to the haughty and complacent from her scorpion-drawn chariot.

Divine Domains

Dulicta's primary domains are Chaos, Destruction, Strength and War. Her subdomains are Demon, Blood, Ferocity and Rage.

Holy Books & Codes

Dulicta does not have a holy book in the traditional sense, but a warsong called the 'Cry of Vojar'.    It is composed of seven verses, each extolling the different joys of battle, ranging from the sadistic ecstasy of killing, to all an almost masochistic rapture in the taking of wounds. Excerpts from the Cry of Vojar are common warcries among the Vojaki.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Dulicta is usually depicted as a four-armed warrior riding a chariot drawn by giant scorpions, her sacred animal.   Her favoured weapon is the flail, in all its varieties. In depictions of Dulicta at the Fall of Hylach, she wields two dire flails in her four arms.   Dulicta's mystic card is The Chariot, and her holy number is seven.

Tenets of Faith

Dulicta believes that existence is a battle, and only by fighting and killing can our lives have meaning. Violent and aggressive impulses are to be celebrated and acted upon, while the notion of restraint is a trick the weak employ to keep the mighty at bay.   Dulicta's temple is the battlefield, and for sacrifices to be worthy they must be killed in the heat of combat. Her clergy are battle shamans, warpriests and bloodragers.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Dulicta believes that civilisation is a deluded pretence, and must be washed away in a ceaseless tide of war. She desires a kratocracy, where strength is the only measure of success.
