Peevle
Peevle is a god associated with wilderness, craft and the fey.
Somewhat of a contradiction, Peevle is both a staunch guardian of the wilderness, and a maker of ingenious devices. Thus unusual marrying of nature and industry is best understood as a celebration of creation itself. Put simply, Peevle is a god of beautiful things.
Peevle is particularly favoured by gnomes, and known to share their love of jokes and pranks.
He is sometimes referred to as 'The Pixie Smith' or 'Little Man of the Forest'.
Divine Domains
Peevle's primary domains are Artifice, Community, Luck and Plant. His subdomains are Construct, Growth and Home.
Holy Books & Codes
Peevle has no holy book; in fact, he prohibits it. He believes that codification is anathema to freedom and creativity.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Peevle is associated with the mushroom, and his sacred animal, the fox. When depicted as a humanoid, he most often appears as a gnome or elf, dressed in unusual, asymmetric armour crafted from woodland materials.
His favoured weapons are longbows, shortbows and slings.
Peevle's mystic card is Temperance, and his holy number is 14.
Tenets of Faith
Mortals are recipients of a divine gift: the ability to recognise, and create beauty. This simple truth renders all living things inherently good, however many souls are led astray when they lose sight of their gift.
Peevle and his followers believe that no one is beyond redemption. Only by abandoning fallacies, and reconnecting with our true, instinctual, creative selves can we find meaning.
