Aendrim Library

The Aendrim library is a public library built on the same site as the city's original library, which was completely destroyed when Aendrim was razed during the war. The library is built on top off massive underground catacombs which house rare literature and artifacts. The Aendrim library is a public institution which dates back over 1500 years. The original building's above-ground structure was destroyed during the war. During the reconstruction era, the library was rebuilt as an exact replica of the original using stone scavenged from the city's ruins, making it the only major structure in Aendrim still constructed both in the prewar architectural style and using the reddish-pink stone that the original city's buildings were famous for.

The library staff are known as the Avowed, and include:

Great Reader Council

The library maintains a council of 8 Great Readers, senior Avowed who oversee day-to-day operations. These individuals are gifted scholars and spellcasters chosen from the ranks of Master Readers by the Master of Tomes. Library Catacombs

The catacombs beneath Aendrim's library are over 2,000 years old and house ancient texts, artifacts, and crypts for the original noble families of the city. These catacombs are accessed only with the permission of the Master of Tomes, the Church, and the Crown. An escort including a member of the Royal Guard and the Temple of Waukeen is required by law.
