Doomfall Sea

Created as a result of the Doomfall Cataclysm, the Doomfall Sea is a massive and treacherous body of water that sits to the north of Eldamir. The corrupted and perilous sea was unnaturally created near the end of the Dracomachy - the great war waged between an alliance of dwarves, men, and storm giants against the draconic forces of Tiamat - as the evil dragon queen unleashed her godly energies against the mortal alliance in a last stich effort to vanquish her foes. The once calm and plentiful plains of the Great Northern Expanse of Eldamir were destroyed and forever transformed into the Doomfall Sea. The region is now occupied by a cadre of monstrous constructs, elemental energies, and ruthless beasts. Following the Cataclysm and the devastation that was wrought upon the dwarven kingdoms and nomadic Northmen tribes that once occupied the Northern Expanse, a large variety of chromatic dragons remain in the area, holdovers left from the armies sent forth by Tiamat.
