Stormcrown

Stormcrown is the capital of the Stormgård Empire, located in the Stormlands, along the southern coast of Weströnd. It is situated just north of Kingswood, at the mouth of the Renos River, overlooking Longcross Bay. The city is home to the Strïthmerki Throne, which is the seat of power for the emperor, Alexander III from House Veôr.   The main city is a marvel of modern engineering, as it sits suspended across an upper delta of the Renos River. Stormcrown is enclosed by a wall which is manned by the city watch, also referred to as the crimson guard. Its dark gothic architecture displays a sophisticated beauty, while simultaneously emitting a sense of power and order felt by all who enter its domain. The city is massive, spanning a few hundred square miles including the many shantytowns constructed outside its walls. It is the most populous city in all of Weströnd, more than doubling the populations of Cadiz and Oldharbor. However, with great size comes the unfortunate issues of urban planning and waste management. The smell of refuse and human debris can be recognized from miles away, if you happen to be downwind of the city.

Industry & Trade

Positioned along the shores of Longcross Bay, at the mouth of the Renos River, Stormcrown is a massive metropolis with access to every good and service one could ever look to acquire. The city is the principal harbor within the Stormgård Empire and as a result, commands a tremendous trade economy. Due to its bustling port, there are plentiful inns, taverns, underground markets, and rare auctions accessible to Stormcrown’s inhabitants and visitors.
