Orial is a plane of Amaera governed by Oria. It is a woodland with huge trees and grassy fields. The realm is said to be filled with werebeasts and renown hunters who hunt the creatures living in the forests. Arel Caihice visited this realm in his study of the Araic Princes and wrote that it was one of the most beautiful places he'd ever visited.
Oria is said to reside in a large tree palace in the centre of the wood, with a crown of aconite flowers and gold sitting on her head.
Legends
Stories of Orial have been told since the early Creation Era. Since then, scholars have attempted to study Orial, looking for tangible evidence of its existence. Many more hunters and werebeasts sought an entrance to Orial other than the traditional mode—death. One such explorer, Arel Caihice, failed to discover Orial after a lifetime of searching. Defeated, he returned to Elmawood, where he was slain by Poison Blue Snakes. After passing into Orial, he wrote letters of correspondence with a psychic medium named Kailu Ianzana, detailing the existence of this forested realm. The letters were published in the book A Study of the Area.
