Aasimar

Aasimar are a race of people who have been infused with the touch of the Court of Life, distant descendants of those greater gods and the races that live with them in The Heavens. As opposed to demi-gods, Aasimar are distant relatives of celestial beings, and therefore have much diminished powers. Some may carry the blood of the divine but not be born a Aasimar as it is a recessive trait that rarely activates.
