The Heavens

The Heavens is the divine plane in which half of the divine gods, the court of life, made their home. Lying above the astral sea, it has been locked behind a divine gate ever since the death of Truth.

Geography

The Heavens is a collection of tightly packed dimensional pockets, each one owned by a greater god. The space between each of these pockets is pure chaos, as the astral sea does not have space to stay calm. This makes traversal by anyone other than a god almost impossible.

Natural Resources

Between the pockets, in the raging astral sea, is pure wild magic. This resource is very hard to find anywhere in the normal Astral Sea, and harder to create on the Material plane. However it is also exceptionally hard to store and use without causing damage to one's self and the surrounding area.

History

The heavens were created by Truth as a place for their children to rest and make merry. It also acted as a safe haven for the gods to create their own planes, to be used as they please. Eventually, half of the gods decided to leave the Heavens and make their own home in The Hells. This was to avoid bickering between the gods, rather than outright hostility. Truth made their home here, deeming it to be their own personal home. Before the death of Truth, the divine gates were left open to anyone who wished to visit the Heavens. However, after Truth was killed, the gates were closed and have remained locked since.
