Eira Thorn is the Spymaster of The Empire of Vaughn and a member of The White Rose Order. A force of incredible power, she is suspected of conducting many assassinations and raids by herself, or alongside her twin brother Ciel Thorn, rather than hiring assasins and agents to do them for her.

Personal history

Ciel and Eira Thorn were born to poor parents in the city of Estus, where they would struggle to survive for many of their early years. The city has always been the dirtier, rougher city of the few major settlements across Westguard, and being born to a poor family meant that there was nothing they could do to escape the dark under-belly of the city. Their parents taught them the way of theivery, pickpocketing, and how to slice a throat with as little noise as possible. The four of them would manage to keep their meagre living afloat, until not long after Margot fell. As the new lord of the lands took over, a much harsher hand came down on the city. The Thorn's would come back to their small home one day to find their parents hanging from the rafters, their stolen goods ransacked and taken. The two children would seek their revenge, attempting to kill the Lord who had murdered their parents in their first assasination attempt, but the inexperienced chidlren were caught. The lord found their pain amusing, and sent them to be trained in the art of killing in the combined army of the Lords in Porth Du. Their time here was misery, but it hardened them more than ever and honed their skills to become the sharpest among their class. It was their time training here that they would meet Aeron Vaughn, who would tell them of his plans to take back his throne, taking the twins on board as the second and third roses of his new order.
During Aeron's war the two would be sent deep behind enemy lines to cripple defences and bring about dessent in the ranks of their enemies. They were powerful, able to take down entire garrisons from within on their own. When the two returned to Estus with an army behind them, Aeron granted them the honour of facing the Lord in a duel, this was the only time that Aeron let anybody else take the life of a Lord. The two were sadistic in their attacks, much more skilled than the man who had abused his power before them, letting the man suffer before eventually silencing him forever.
Now, the two both hold different rolls within the government of the Westguardian Empire. Eira is the spymaster of the court, handling a vast network of eyes and ears across the continent and even overseas. However, unlike many other spymasters, she takes on jobs of her own. Frequently she will take action instead of getting another to do so for her, silencing numerous people who have become threats to the empire alongside her brother. "The Twins" are a powerful duo, and are feared by anyone seeking to fight against Aeron's rule.
