Gold Council

The Gold Council is the secretive government of The Auric Amity. A group of merchants, admitted to the council in secret and only revealing their identity after they have finished their time on the council, they legislate the laws of the country and it's executive decisions. They are rarely seen officially in person, only appearing outside of the council building once a year in a ceremony where they appear in robes and masks.

Structure

The Gold Council is made up of 11 seats, each taken by one member of the council. Each member has a single vote in matters, with draws being resolved by the current speaker.
