Greater God
Greater Gods are the species created by Truth to help in the creation and management of the Universe. They are seen as the main deities of the Universe and see the greatest numbers of followers among all gods.
Basic Information
Anatomy
As gods, they can morph their physiology to fit what they want to show themselves as. Most gods tend to find a form that they prefer and stick to that. This is usually a humanoid form.
Genetics and Reproduction
Greater Gods cannot be created by anything other than Truth. However, a greater god can make Lesser Gods, which are less powerful gods that exist outside the Divine Gates, and if they procreate with a mortal they can create Demi-Gods. This is however, exceptionally rare.
Growth Rate & Stages
Gods are born in their fully grown form, mentally and physically. Albeit they can be immature at birth and tend to mature more with experience.
After this point, a god only grows stronger through belief, a collective praise or recognition of their identity. The more belief one has, the stronger they become. Lord Death, for instance, is one of the strongest Greater Gods as all people believe in the concept of death, and know that he will come for them one day.
Ecology and Habitats
The gods find their home within the pocket dimensions of the Hells and the Heavens.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Although they are independent in their roles, the gods form a hierarchal structure based around power and respect. However they do not tend to use this power of each other unless they are absolutely required to.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Although they are not omnipresent, they are able to see wherever their followers are. In their physical form they are exceptionally perceptive and insightful.
Civilization and Culture
History
The greater gods were created at the beginning of the universe by Truth to help manage and create the universe. They existed peacefully and happily together as a family with only minor arguments breaking out. They ruled over the universe and walked amongst the mortals during the first age. The group formed two pantheons to manage over the concerns of the mortals, though the two were rivals in some spaces of how the world should be guided they were respectful in their shared rule.
After the death of truth, the Greater gods decided to retreat into their homes in the Hells and the Heavens, locking themselves behind divine gates.
