Aasimar
Aasimar were often, but not always, descended from angels and other creatures of pure good alignment, but while predisposed to good alignments, aasimar were by no means always good.
Although their celestial ancestors could be many generations removed, the blessing lingered. Unlike half-celestials, aasimar are not predisposed to good alignments but are varied in alignment nearly as widely as full humans, though aasimars are certainly virtuous and can resist evil powers easier than other races.

- +2 racial bonus to Listen and Spot
- +2 racial bonus to saves versus enchantment spells and spell-like abilities cast by evil characters.

- Planar Magic: Aasimar gain the Arcane Spark for free and mana progressions cost half APPL for initial purchase. There isn’t any reduction to level them up though. Not choosing a mana tree will leave you with the cantrip magic set.
- Light: 3/day cast the affect light spell as if casting it at the 6 mana point level, limited to light only.
