Elemental Kin
Few know where or how elemental kin formed. The best understanding is that at one time in the past beings from the four elemental planes were stranded here and decided to mate with a few of the species of beings here. Those offspring blended and were able to pass traits of both their parents. Over the generations, the kin have formed a balanced bloodline between their distance ancestors. There are four types of elementals that breed with six different races, each combination has their own special abilities. First are abilities that all elemental kin have. Below you select one of the four elements and then one of the six races. Ability modifiers of the two stack together, I.E. an elf fire elemental kin has a +3 dexterity bonus.
- Elemental Affinity: An elemental kin receives half damage from their element type and if that damage has a save for half, they take none.
- Darkvision: Elemental Kin can see in the dark up to 60 feet. Darkvision is black and white only, but it is otherwise like normal sight, and Elemental Kin can function just fine with no light at all.

Basic Information
Biological Traits
Air
Air elemental kin believe themselves to be masters of the air. They can hover and fly short distances. They also can reduce their falling speed with the free slow fall feat with the modification listed below.
- +1 Intelligence, +1 Dexterity, -1 Wisdom, -1 Charisma
- Elemental Link, Plane of Air free when lvl reqs met, but all reqs need to be met and APPL needs to be spent to rank it up.
- Path of Air cost 2 APPL and can be acquired without a ritual
- Fly, An Air Kin can glide through the air, they can hold themselves off the ground up to a distance of 5ft times their Dexterity modifier. They can travel at this height or vary the height a distance of 30 ft times their Dexterity modifier.
- Slow fall, air kin can use this ability even if no walls are near. They do need to use APPL to rank this up at level 14.
Earth
Earth elemental kin have a hard skin that boost their natural AC. They can also sense creatures in the ground.- +1 Strength, +1 Constitution, -1 Wisdom, -1 Charisma
- Elemental Link, Plane of Earth free when lvl reqs met, but all reqs need to be met and APPL needs to be spent to rank it up.
- Path of Earth cost 2 APPL and can be acquired without a ritual
- +2 Natural Base AC boost to +5 at level 10
- Tremor Sense, earth kin can feel creatures in the ground up to 10 feet away without concentrating. With a round of concentration, they can feel things in the ground up to a mile away, and creatures walking on the surface up to half a mile away.
Fire

Water

HUMAN
Human elemental kin do not have any extra ability bonuses beyond what their element half gives them. They receive 2 APPL at first level only. They do not have extra APPL at higher levels.- Medium Size
ELF
The various species of elf are blended out with the elements so it is difficult to say which elven species the Elemental Kin-elf is.- +1 Dexterity

The various species of dwarf are blended out with the elements so it is difficult to say which dwarven species the Elemental Kin-dwarf is.- +1 Strength

HALFLING
The various species of halfling are blended out with the elements so it is difficult to say which halfling species the Elemental Kin-halfling is.- +1 Charisma
- Small: As a Small creature, a halfling gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but they use smaller weapons than humans use, and their lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.
GNOME
The various species of gnome are blended out with the elements so it is difficult to say which gnomish species the Elemental Kin-gnome is.- +1 Constitution
- Small: As a Small creature, a gnome gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but they use smaller weapons than humans use, and their lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.
ORC
Unlike a half-orc which is a blending of human and orc blood, an elemental kin-orc is full orc and element mixed. They tend to loose most of their orc hair, and their skin is tinted a shade that equates to the element they are blended with. The various species of orc are blended out with the elements so it is difficult to say which orc species the Elemental Kin-orc is.- +2 Strength
