The City of Steel juts out from the cliffside, its gleaming metallic sheen visible, even in the downpour. You see rods of metal reaching high into the sky, and a bolt of lightning arcs down and strikes it with a loud clap of thunder. Even from this distance, where you are dry, you can see tiny spots of people moving across the metal platforms and walkways, and it becomes impossible to distinguish what is a weapon, and what is clothing.
Everything is woven with metal, and you never thought you would ever lay eyes on the ingenious feats of engineering and research.

Architecture

The architecture in Voxis is unique compared to anywhere else in Estya, though the closest equivalent would be The City of Flame. Constructed entirely out of metal, and sticking out from the cliffside, the City of Steel distinguishes itself from its fiery neighbor to the south with its structures being designed and built specifically to catch and channel electricity to its needed recipients.
Nearly every building exposed to the elements features a lightning rod. These rods help provide artificial light to the residents, while any excess is fed into the grid and kept on a continuous loop through the caverns and cliff due to the Stilans having yet discovered how to store the energy yet.
Most of the city is underground, like with Shadowlight Hold, however instead of turning a massive, naturally-occuring cavern into their home, the Stilans have opted to mine the tunnels themselves, and use the resulting material to refine and develop their electrical grid.

The vast majority of the Stilan population calls Voxis home.

Natural Resources

Low-Carbon Steel is plentiful and easily accessed within the cliffside, and the entirety of the civilization has been constructed out of this steel, only with various amounts of carbon for different purposes.
