Anubis

Lord of the Sacred Land, Imy-ut (He who is in the place of embalming )

A tall, graceful being, Anubis is one of the most readily identifiable deities of the desert peoples. He appears male, with a muscular build covered with smooth jet-black fur. His head is that of a Golden Jackal, and he is often adorned with fine silks and jewelry of gold and lapis. His priesthood do not maintain separate temples, instead operating shrines out of embalmers guild houses which serve as embalming houses.
