Arensnuphis
The Good Companion Arensnuphis
A muscular leonine lesser deity, Arensnuphis was once an average Leonal Agathion. It was by fortune that he was hunting crocodiles along the same river wherein Osiris' dismembered body was set adrift. Sensing the inherent divinity of the leg he found among the reeds, Arensnuphis guarded it closely for days. He found Isis weeping at the banks of the river from her grief at her husband's loss, and being unable to find all of his separated parts.
Arensnuphis, being of noble and just spirit, was moved by her tears. He bowed before the bereaved Goddess and presented her with the limb he had carefully protected. Isis was so overjoyed to have found the remaining body part that she granted Arensnuphis a small measure of divinity, and asked that he be her guardian from that day forward.
