History

House Frostclaw was founded during a period of political unrest when many noble houses were focused on consolidating power through warfare. The Frostclaws, however, took a different approach. Rather than amassing military strength, they focused on preserving the Dragonborn’s rich history and culture, commissioning works of art and constructing grand monuments that would stand the test of time. Their rise to prominence came when they were chosen by the empire to design the grand Hall of Chronicles, a repository of Dragonborn history, which solidified their place in noble society. Though they have no martial reputation, their contributions to Dragonborn culture have given them considerable influence.
