Lords of the Wing
One of the Feywilds more whimsical and flighty families, well renown to the Seelie and Unseelie Courts and held in good standing with both. While seemingly mostly aligned to the Spring Court, their useful tenure and purpose within the Feywild gives them leave to travel far and wide without issue or interference.
This purpose dating back millennia to when one of the family's founding fathers created the species of creatures known as "birds" within the Feywild. Previously not having had such a luxurious or majestic species, which in many others Planes was already a well established feature, the founding father of the Lords of the Wing summoned as many different types of winged and feathered creatures that his mind would allow him to muster, entranced with his Archfey magic allowing him to give life and form to that which he had previously only imagined on parchment.
Passed down through the generations, each subsequent child of the Lords of the Wing have the same talent, able to create new life in any avian form they can imagine. Leading, quite often, to some peculiar hybrids and monstrosities which despite being horrific or wondrous are accepted into the Feywild ecosystem with ease. It is widely believed that before a child of the house can truly accept the responsibility of their position, they must create a new avian species which has not been seen before, to show their prowess as a Lord of the Wing.
While widely respected by all the Courts, it is also vastly known that the flighty and whimsical nature of the Lords of the Wing make them some of the most dangerous Fey to do deals with, as they have become masters of manipulation and weaving elaborate, tortuous trickery into their everyday vocabulary with such ease that it is often wondered if they even know what the truth tastes like. While not necessarily malicious in their dealings, there is, of course, a reason that they garner respect from both the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. They seem not to have too much issue in simply doing whatever it is which pleases them the most at any given time, making them somewhat uncontrollable and most frequently, easier to deal with when simply kept away from official Court matters.
The youngest members of House Aderyn are, undoubtedly, the very worst of the bunch. Having garnered all of their ancestral chaos and bundled it into the twin heirs of the House: Lady Lark and Lord Swift, who are decidedly so mercurial in their behaviour that the common thought is that the Lords of the Wing wish to marry them off to make them "someone else's problem".

Birds:
The Lords of the Wing are able to converse, commune and control any avian species which has sprouted from their creation, allowing them to use them as a mail delivery service, as spies, companions or familiars and even servants.History
The Lords of the Wing have long been one of the more chaotic Feywild families, and have a long ancestral line which dates back further than what many have documentation for. Their current key agenda and purpose in the Feywild is the overseeing of the avian species and races which they have long claimed creation of and indeed, every so often when a new species of bird is documented, one can often put it down to the skills of the Lords of the Wing having been put to use in a momentary spat of boredom.
