There have been whispers that Samuel once held immense power, through his position within a certain underground organisation and through a magical item.
His former organisation is well known throughout the lands, but not many have seen them directly. He is believed to have many kills from his “former” life, and may still use them from time to time. Not much is known about the item other than, in theory at least, you could play a game of cards with it.
