The Spirit Temple

The spirit temple is a huge spire of black stone, almost alien in origin, it exists from a time long forgotten. Atop the spire is an ever-glowing beacon of light which rises into the sky. When a creature with a soul dies, in any plane, its soul travels here, floating out of the sky like a dimly lit wisp of energy towards the beacon, where it is compelled to float gently downstream towards the Fortress of Memories on Mount Raven where its existence can be judged by The Raven Queen.
