Flame Matriarch

Flame Matriarch is the highest political office in Valdra. The office is determined by election every 10 years, by the people of Valdra. The Matriarch resides in the City Ember, the capital of Valdra. She oversees political, financial, social, aspects within the country as well as handles many foreign affairs. Most frequently this position was held by elven women; However, the current holder is a human.

Responsibilities

Oversees laws and bill proposals, can veto items, and send them back to the council to re-deliberate. Is considered Cheif and commander of the Valdra Army. Handles daily appointments with locals, and defers tasks to correct offices.
