The Hikari people mostly reside amongst a cluster of mountains within the snowy caps. The village is constantly working on fortifying itself and building up a city that can be globally recognized. By the time Hikari declares independence from Galta, the city is relatively large and is considered a world power. Many survivors from the fall of Iniva relocated to Hikari, causing a massive boom in population. Hikari is slowly becoming the new Iniva, a boom of mechanical and magical advancement.While many of Hikaris citizens choose to stay close to the capital Kirii, some do live within the white wasteland and bear the brunt of harsh snowy weather. These folks are often farmers, butchers, and lumberjacks or adventures looking for new ore mines. Occasionally, travelers will visit in search of the Fey Gate which brought the first dwarven settlers to the region.

Hikari was founded in 10201, at the time of the initial settlers there was very little known about the land. A voyage of dwarfs from Galta sailed from East Galta to the North in search of the legendary gate to the fey. Instead, they found a settlement of goliaths within the icy snowcaps. While settling in, and while searching for the door to the realm of the Fey, the Dwarfs of Galta found a wellspring of Tungsten. Tungsten is considered a rare and sturdy material never found within natural wellsprings of ore in the Galta region. With the finding of extremely rare and valuable material, the Dwarfs slowly merged with the indigenous Goliaths who called the land Kirii. There are some rumors of frost giants living within the mountains west of the village, however, no one has ever brought back any proof of this.
