Warforged

the Warforged were a race built by the genius Vedalken as they learned, that their magic was not effective against the Yuan-Ti which inhabited Shemari and attacked them frequently. these constructs were infused with artificial souls and used to fight the enemies as cold killers with no emotions, but as time went on the Vedalken wanted them to have a personality. so they taught them emotions and empathy until some were recognisable as sentient. the creators of the warforged saw it as logical to implement them into their government for strategical purposes and even after times of war against yuan-ti, kalashtar and humans the warforged found a place in Vedalken-society. some of the warforged learned of the feelings of wanderlust, and empires that came in contact with the Hiris dynasty learned how to reproduce the warforged, either through espionage or through friendly relations and contracts. Warforged are formed from a blend of organic and inorganic materials. Root-like cords infused with alchemical fluids serve as their muscles, wrapped around a framework of steel, darkwood, or stone. Armored plates form a protective outer shell and reinforce joints. Warforged share a common facial design, with a hinged jaw and crystal eyes embedded beneath a reinforced brow ridge. Beyond these common elements of warforged design, the precise materials and build of a warforged vary based on the purpose for which it was designed. Although they were manufactured, warforged are living humanoids. Resting, healing magic, and the Medicine skill all provide the same benefits to warforged that they do to other humanoids.
