Clapper Claw
Clapperclaw, the scarecrow standing three feet tall, was created by Granny Nightshade who used a tormented child's soul from Gehenna. Seeking to avoid performing her evil bidding, it fled from home. Upon escaping Thither, Clapperclaw encountered Agdon Longscarf and his harengon bandits, who pilfered its head—a majestic stag skull it proudly wore. Now, it yearns to reclaim its head, feeling somewhat embarrassed by its current substitute: a gourd, ill-fitted on its shoulders, with eight copper coins sealed within, producing a rattling sound whenever Clapperclaw nods, turns, or shakes its head. He has agreed to show the party to Thither if they can return his head.
