Blacksmith Alida

Alida is the blacksmith apprentice in town. Their parents run the forge near the marketplace, where for generations the family has created all sorts of tools necessary for the daily labor in a small farm village: shovels, hoes, pitchforks, rakes. And of course the occasional sharp blade to defend against the not always friendly wildlife around.
The forge is running hot today with lots and lots of customers needing repairs or new tools altogether. Alida is on their way to the well in the center of the marketplace, hopeful to get at least a bucket of water back to the shop. With the never-ending drought, water isn’t easy to come by.
But today will turn out quite different as they stumble over something hidden and half-buried near the well.
