Hybrid

Hybrids are offsprings from relationships with multiple humanoid species. They often feature traits of both parents but often have reduced abilities within the traits. Some traits like the wings of the avian, the ears and tail of the feline as well as the animal shape of the shapeshifters are dominant and are therefore in almost all cases inherited by the offspring. The offspring is fertile but will often only pass on the dominant traits.
In the past, they were not welcomed into society and are still not welcome in some communities, as they are often associated with the prejudice of bringing bad luck and misfortune. The hatred towards them led to isolated villages and settlements inhabited by hybrids and those who were benevolent towards them.
