Suppressing the fear, I sit down on a nearby tree trunk and wait. The wind starts blowing stronger. I shiver, bundling my cloak tighter around my body to counter the cold air. Taking a deep breath - breath in ... breath out - trying to calm my mind and body and listen to the voices.
Time's river flows in silence, but to reach the tower, you must listen to its song.I recount the words, and the wind dies down. Silence encases me like a blanket, leaving me behind alone with my thoughts. "Time's river flows in silence ..." What is this supposed to mean? Maybe this hints at the course of life? I should go to the local cemetery. There, I might find answers if my suspicion with the course of life is correct.
