Vampire
Born vampires look similar to the created ones but differ from each other vastly in terms of their behaviors, gestures, facial expressions and diet. The born vampires usually blend well into the societies living a quiet, secluded life with their families.
They are an immortal species immune to most diseases but can be killed if their heart is pierced or they are beheaded.
Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
Vampires can only reproduce with an individual of their own species or a fairy born creature. The pregnancy period lasts about three months before the offspring is born.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Their primary food is blood, although they only need to take it to them if they are exhausted or injured. Even if they need the blood to accelerate the healing process, only a tiny amount is required. How the blood is taken is dependent on the preference of the individual. In most cases, they take it directly from the source by biting another person while taking care not to take too much to prevent bringing a created or transformed vampire into being.
Apart from the blood, vampires can eat other sapient species' food but don't get much energy and nourishment from it.
Behaviour
Vampires often move and walk through the shadows and through the Shadow Realm to reach other locations unsighted.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Vampires have enhanced sight within the night, and their eyes are sensitive to sunlight, causing them to wear hats with wide brims, large hoods, or darkened glasses within bright sunlight. The sunlight sensitivity reduces over the years until it possibly vanishes entirely at a high age. They also have enhanced hearing allowing them to localize living individuals by the moving blood in their veins. Vampires have a diminished sense of temperature and pain.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
They usually have pale skin in ivory color variations.
