Gilgameshians

The people who call Gilgamesh's Stool their home. Most have migrated and set up abode around the last city of the desert, Gomorrah Sands. A hearty heritage all sharing a similar lineage of people who were orga-modified to survive the harsh desert outside.

Gilgameshians all come from a long forgotten project to make the settling humans more likely to survive the harsh desert of Gilgamesh's Rest. Thicker Skin, more efficent cooling, better UV protection.

To the naked eye, it's hard to spot, but if you get close enough to touch them you can feel the difference in the skin texture.

During the Cataclysm, most of the 'Native' Gilameshians were wiped out, and the ones that did survive relocated to the other settlements.

Now, there is an effort by the Gilgameshians to found new homes in their old desert. Even with their modifications, the post-cataclysm desert is no easy place to settle.
