Hedon Consent Agreement

A Document that is provided to most travelers entering space under Hedon control. They take the forms of waivers, declarations, and other associated forms. They can be served digitally or through a physical medium.

Each Document has minimal requirements in order to be legal in Hedon, but each local Barony can define their own rules and laws to match their needs.

Signing the document allows entry to the local facilitis and Hedon clubs, but also makes the signer liable for Hedon punishment should they break the terms of the agreement.

All Hedon Consent Agreements begin with the codification of Consent. Written in Fær Consenti, this section helps ensure that all entering know that breaking the consent of fellow Hedonites is a serious offense.

Additional laws specific to the place being visited can follow. The Baron has the final say of what terms and conditions apply to partaking in their facilities.

Importance

The introduction and adoption of Hedon Consent Agreements helped bring trust and credibility to the young Hedonite culture who at the beginning suffered from bad actors getting away with consent crimes.

With consent agreements, people coming and going had a singular document holding them accountable. Breaking the document meant losing Hedonite status or in many cases a more physical punishment.
