Cureroot

A rare white turnip like root vegetable with golden leaves on top. Originally Cureroot was created with Sound-Targeted Lightning hitting a root vegetable freshly planted. After being propagated, Cureroot only grows in areas with heightened elevation and with extremely nutrient rich soil. Cureroots taste very bitter but will cure any single status ailment that afflicts the creature. If the creature is affected by multiple status ailments the Cureroot cures one of them at random.

History

The very first Specialty Farmer Malarlun Thunderbranch happened as an accident. In the early morning a Sound-Targeted Lightning storm came through Kamdohr the year Malarlun became an adult in 1150 Tarsakh- The Claw of Storms. He was out working on his farm when one of the lightning strikes hit the freshly planted root vegetable; thinking nothing of it he continued on working as normal as nothing seemed amiss. As the seedlings started to sprout Malarlun noticed the plant that was hit my the lightning strike had golden leaves instead of the green ones as expected. At harvest time, about two months later, Malarlun harvested his crop including the goldened leaf plant. The only noticeable difference was the golden leaves. Deciding he would try it he felt different he was no longer sick from is poisonings. This is how Cureroot was created.
