A Lasting Legend

Halie is a Druid of unseen powers. Though at first glance it may not see so. She tends to stay in Dragon Blood Forest where she lives with her husband, Tavster Zumfaren. Tavster does have another residence in Wisteria Walk in Jaahil and when she does come into town she is out shadowed by her husband. Though she tends to keep herself hidden and disguised and it is not common knowledge that they are married as they have not been married long.
In Hattara Peaks there lies a cave aptly names The Shimming Hallow. Melora, the Wildmother, spoke to Halie saying that something was amiss within the Shimming Hallow and she was unsure its origin or harmfulness. Halie took her staff, she and the Wildmother created, into the Shimming Hallow. The story goes that she singlehandedly fought out the corruption happening to these never to be seen crystal creatures. After destroying the Stink Spirit she searched the sludge of the body and found a crystal crown. Once she picked up an alter slide out of the wall about 50 feet in front of her. Taking a closer look she saw a perfect spot for the crown and set it down. Crystal shards floated from the walls above her head into a tiny funnel and then a crown exactly like the one she placed down was presented on top of her head.
Those in Jaahil had no idea that the corruption had extended within the walls of the city. As soon as she placed the crown down the sky cleared and a weight was lifted from the people within the city. Festivals seemed to be more lively again and costs changed back to the normal economy. Though Halie did not want to bring attention to her deed a bard Tavster Zumfaren had seen and heard of what she did and brought it to Jaahil for all to hear. This is how the two met and he kept telling her stories and ended up sneaking underneath her masks and shields and they were married years later.

I suggest you start to listen. Listen to the water, listen to the trees, listen to the creatures, and stop and listen to the wind. Stop and breathe. Life needs those moments, outdoors in peace with nature, just listening not talking for once, mm'kay.

Characteristics

Halie always has her staff with her. At the tip there is a living flower blooming from a thick vined plant. At the bottom of her staff a living plant resides and both ends move seemingly on their own. When she is presenting herself as Archdruid Halie Polycastle she will wear the blue crystal crown.
She is a curvy woman with an athletic build. She moves swiftly and quietly when she wishes. Frequently Halie smells of the forest and at times is covered in dirt and moss while other times she is glistening with water. Her arms and upper back are covered with magical tattoos.

Being within the forest and near Boulder Lake she became an expert at Elemental Racing. She chooses to spend her time in the forest to get to know the plants and animals. She has better luck socially with animals and plants than she does humanoid creatures. Halie is a quick processor and can easily find a solution to a issues and then come up with a couple other solutions in the process.
Sometimes her 'filters' are not always on. When speaking to her, she may say something completely out of the blue, to you, but in her mind it connects. This comes out more when she is drinking and she drinks a lot and normally drinks so heavily that she passes out drunk at least once a week. Most people believe it is because of all she has seen and been through and wants to damped the pain.
