Resting place of the high lords

The Elenasia family crypts are located underneath the castle of Lord's Rock, carved into deep chambers beneath the earth. The patron of the Elenasia Family is Faolan, the Monarch of Earth, so being interred below rock and dirt is of utmost importance.
Whilst most followers of Faolan are buried underground, the old high lords of Serukis are entombed in ornate stone coffins carved with their likeness. Only the high lords and their Shields are allowed to be laid to rest in the crypts, with other members of the family being buried in the traditional way in a cemetery in the castle grounds.
New chambers are carved after the coronation of each high lord. Occasionally these have broken through into the labyrinthine tunnels that also exist below the castle, in which case they are filled in and a new chamber is prepared.
