Description

This brass doorknocker bears the snarling face of a lion gripping the knocker betwixt its teeth. Once per day, the knocker can be affixed to an existing door (such that would be suitable for an Entangle Door spell) and knocked to cast mage's magnificent mansion, using the door as the entrance to the mansion. The affixed door cannot be larger than that allowed by the spell or the item will not activate. When opened, the doorway shows what physically lies beyond, and if any creature other than those allowed by the spell attempts to use the door they will simply pass through without entering the mansion. The mansion affixes to a door with an arcane adhesive that can only be removed with dispel magic or similar effect, or by command of the one who placed it. While the mansion is in effect, the door to which it is affixed becomes invulnerable to damage, though can be moved wholesale.
