From the aftermath of this storm, a strange boat has scattered amongst the Efane Coast, the name of this ship, plunged upright into the thick, dampened sands, like an unfortunate gravestone to those who were lost. “The Rhapsody”, finally completing its final line of its epic journey from the unknown. From the remnants rises a man, tattered, bloodied and lost. Beyond him lies a land of mystery, garrisoned by a dark forest, yet rising pillars of smoke ignite a bead of hope within, as he limps and clatters into the unknown.
There isn’t much known of the lands of Anderall, as I, the bard Ludan Nillith, have learned. This place I call home - a land beyond a place known only as “the Foglands”, imprisons the warring realms of Kagarra and Novaria, like two vicious predators vying for the prime of the hunt. Yet, Anderall is a comfortable place, bright and colourful, the weather – temperate. However, across the Mesmer Sea raged a strange storm, churning up waves of chaos and destruction. Ever since, the weather has been formidable, unpredictable, and unforgiving. Heavy rain and sharp winds cut through the hillsides and luscious forests, wrecking farmlands, flooding lakes, and uprooting mighty trees. People have begun to wonder if it is a sign of change in the world, as if something has gone awry, and what remains of the Lodge of Alchemists and the mysterious Masked Scholars have tried and failed to unveil its true nature. In recent days, the storm has alleviated, the monsoons now infrequent and becoming stable – Anderall’s ecology restored.
