The War of the Colossus had shaken the foundations of the Multiverse, the immeasurable power of the Colossi ringing out against the walls of their prison as they collided with the might of Dragons. The walls caved in, releasing the chaos of the parallel worlds upon the Material Plane.

During the many battles of the War, the trickle of strength that the Colossi had from their creator, the Formless Primordial, began to crack the walls of the Planes as they collided with the near-indestructible hides of the now Ancient Dragons. Almost like an unheard and unseen shockwave across reality, with each strike, the foundations that kept the other Planes at bay began to cave.   At the Battle of Modlin's Hovel, the last crack of this power shattered the walls of reality with a single blow. Mo'l-katesh, the Earth Colossus, struck the stoney hide of Aeogaroth, a black dragon whose breath had wittled the ancient elemental's body with its corrosive touch.   Only but a moment passed before the skies above began to warble, glitch, and tear, revealing alien skies above. Pieces of land began to become cinder as the Sea of Flames licked against it, the wilds becoming enchanted by the presence of the Eildearans and Fey, the seas raging against the flooding waters of the Endless Ocean, and the darkened caves plagued by the creatures of the Shadowfell.   Despite the welcome distraction of the Dragons fighting the Colossi, the Smallfolk or mortals of Eurithan, had new dangers around every corner in the form of alien life, monstrous and humanoid alike. Clashes of blades, flashes of arrows, and the spark of Hedge Magic would follow, kicking dust and blood into the air.   The walls of reality would slowly heal over a century, trapping all manner of creatures in the world, cut off from their homelands, their only option: integrate or die. But, in the fallout, came the warbling masses of magic that had unique properties and had influenced the land to reveal new materials and arcana that had never been seen before.
