Mevlova

Capital of Mevius and home to thousands of humans and a few other races. Mevlova has had its fair share of history both good and the bad, originally built on blessed ground plants and people alike grow healthy living long lives. This attribute is said to be a gift from Anapyksiouse but was the reason the city blossomed so well those who settled here over 250 years ago and has been striving ever since. Mevlova whine and cheese is said to be the finest in all of Europa with there cold cuts being seen as close second. Mevlova has also brought forth many strong warriors including a legion known as the line breakers over 100 years ago expanded Mevius's borders half way what is now Gnominhiem.
These days Mevlova focuses its self on creating the finest food and wine while growing young boys into capable soldiers who will once again bring glory to Mevlova and Mevius as a whole. In the years of war with Kandabar Mevlova saw a shoot of organised crime trying to use the gifts of the land to grow drugs and find a way to capture the power in Mevlovas ground to be sold to other countries who wish for either a military like the Line breakers or want to out due the great Mevlovan wine.

Demographics

a 99% human with very little variation in ethnicity or religion the one percent is mostly Dwarfes, elves and Gnomes. The number of mega wealthy in the city is high due to its natural Health benefits to living creatures. most of the labor force lives in the outskirts of the city while the high class individuals and those who work for them or directly with the military live within the city walls. The wealthiest live as close as they can to the Temple as its believed that the effects of the blessed ground is most effective there.

Government

A monarchy of Mevius personal oversees the capital with the help of his 200 Crowns guards and 20 advisors he runs not only Mevlova but the whole of Mevius. Currently he has a son who will take charge when he dies and also has a daughter and queen. they do not play into the government and will have to be taught by the many advisors to do so if the King where to ever die.

Defences

A large wall around most the city over 15 barracks and armories for which more than 2,000 soldiers have access too more then 200 of them are highly trained Kings guards which stayed during the war on Kandabar. a large fortress not far from the Great Temple. This fortress is the royal castle and is protected not only by physical doors and walls but a few magical aids.

Industry & Trade

Mostly exports luxury items and it's main import is steel and weapons for its growing military. after War was declared on Kandabar there is far more illegal trade including drugs and creatures and plants used for Drugs, Fighting and pets.

Infrastructure

a simple but effective aqua duct system. a large temple for worship known as the 'Great Temple' . many inn's and places to enjoy luxury's . Dairy farms and wineries along with a few pig farms and grain fields. they have windmills bakeries many barracks for training of warriors, city and kings guards. very few smiths and stables. 5 large market places 2 of which are within the city walls. And of course the city walls that cover almost all the area that the blessed land effects.

Assets

A large Treasury worth over 3 million platinum pieces. 15 armories with 650 city guards and 200 King's guard. Mevlova unlike Renglees has no large store of magical weapons as it tends to rely on "the pure strength of man". there are also over 40 religious artifacts held in both the Kings keep and the Great Temple. a small amount of both wine and food stores scattered around the within the walls of Mevlova.

History

used to be one of the strongest military on Europa ever since magic and technology developed less so. in recent history the country has been dragged down by crime but still remains a powerful city

Tourism

Many people want to come to Mevlova Pregnant mothers attempt to have there children born they so that they will be strong and healthy. many people go there on religious Journeys ending in a prayer and offering at the Great Temple. Many visit to just feel the effects of the blessed land or in hopes to over come disease. the more wealthy travelers go there to experience the fine wines and cheeses available for purchase.
Most who travel will have to stay in one of the many inns on the outside of the Mevlovan walls one quite famous is the Golden-Cow a all race welcome wine and cheese bar/inn this cheese and wine is no where close to the quality of true Mevlovan wines and cheeses but is not bad by any standard.
Those who wish to stay within the inner walls must either have some kind of noble or criminal status. Nobles tend to find themselves in Lavish inn's costing large amounts but with the best wines and cheeses along with complementary meals and security. For those who are criminals there are a few choices from eating the scraps living in the basements to the  Lavish inn's or eating Pre-bought rations falling asleep in gambling rings or just livin within the walls them selves. for those who tend the line of criminal and Noble status you'll be put in one of the few Safe house inn's not quite as lavish but still nothing to scoff at cozy beds best security all the gambling and drugs you can afford.

Architecture

out side the walls the buildings are thatched roofed cozy places with wooden walls. but on the inside of the walls the buldings have complex desings with both slate copper and wooden roofs almost all of them have thick stone walls made with large bricks close to half a meter wide . the walls tend to be painted on the outside with light paint with yellow or gold accents while the insides have colorful carpets strong across the walls or painted stories of there families histories and if neither of those at least wooden inserts too give the walls more depth.

Geography

Nature seems to be Prevalent within the city all bushes are vibrant green as if filled with life. most of the paved stone has area's for small amounts of plant life to shine through. a large fresh water lake on the outside of the Mevlovan walls feeds water into the city allowing for life to crow and wine to be made some inn's even have a direct tap to the water.

Natural Resources

A magic field is present around the most of Mevlova making animals and plants grow strong and healthy and even extending there life by a few years. before it was a large city it used to have a large amount of wild berries growing but know its mostly grapes and grain used to feed both live stock and those outside the outer walls.
