The Shallick States

History

The Shallick States is a confederation of Kingdoms in the Mares Continent whose rulers trace themselves through the Shallick Society, an ancient now-extinct Knightly Order who were honor-bound to protect the Church of Down in Mares. Since the Downquake, the Shallick Leaders' opinions of the Church have varied from acceptance to distrust, and this spectrum is prevalent among their populace.

The Shallick States are composed of almost the entirety of Western Mares, bordering the Freelands in the south and Accland to the East.
