The seat of power and meeting place for the Trade Council, the Trading House is host to the most comprehensive set of records in the world.
Purpose / Function
Houses the archives and financial records of the Trade Council and all citizens of Northport, as well as the primary place of business in Northport.
History
Built in 200 CE to illustrate the power and prestige of the Trade Council which had tightened its grip on Northport after several attempts by the Church of Down to regain control, the Trading House became a mark of power and a warning to the feudal states of Mares that the city of Northport and the Trade Council would not be pushed around by Kings and Queens.
