Saviour Of Light, Lord of the Sky (a.k.a. The Sacred Flame)

“Always carry a flame,” said Alkymbre. “Never let it go out and I shall warm you.”
Alkymbre is the Lord of the Sky and Saviour of Light. He pulls the Silver City around the world, collecting the souls of his followers to watch over their loved ones. Throughout the year he chases the Moon through her Cycles, and occasionally catches her, yet he is wedded to Dubesya and visits her in the earth once per year.
Prayers and offerings to Alkymbre are made through fire. The Sect Of The Guardian Spirits burn their dead on pyres so that they may ascend to Alkymbre's Silver City in the clouds. Burning certain herbs will also result in blessings or curses from Alkymbre. For example: sage brings blessings and living blood brings curses.
In the Old Ways members of the Sect could wed Alkymbre by burning themselves alive. This was especially common among Shamen who sought to be closer to their god. Such practices have been abandoned for hundreds of years.
