Goren's Disciple

Goren's Disciple were once among the glorious soldiers of the great wars, but in the Fourth Age - thanks to the lasting peace - they have more of an image of athletes. Although their primary goal is to prepare for the challenges of the jousting tournaments, they also play unique sports such as long-distance running, wrestling, fist fighting, javelin throwing, weight lifting and a special ball game, the Swiftball. To this day, Goren's followers are mainly soldiers or people doing heavy manual work. Many of his knights serve as high-ranking officers in Vasanna's Royal Army, the Royal Body Guard or members of the Army of the United Nations.

Istentisztelet

At the beginning of every new year, a week-long sports event (The Second Week) is held in his honor. Each of the Goren Abbeys maintains huge arenas for various sporting events, such as running races, javelin throwing, horse riding, war games, and ball games. Whoever wins the most gets the laurel wreath and the glory (and some prize money and lots of attention).

Papság

The priests of Goren are more dueling masters and trainers than devout bookworms. That is why the Goren abbeys are not led by an abbot, but by the first knight, the Grandmaster.

Politikai Befolyás & Intrika

Goren has been the patron deity of the Valentius shire since its founding. In the 400s of the Fourth Age, Tyrannus shire also adopted this religion as their primary faith, when Countess Alexandra Tyrannus married the knight Sir Vendel, the legendary Imperial Champion who was among Goren's Disciple.
