Margrave Thelam Eldrich
Margrave Thelam Eliah Eldrich
Margraves have always held a strange position in the Lowvire hirearchy, but never has that been more apparent than in the relationship between Viceroy Pearl es Lowvire and Thelam Eldrich.
During the landing of imperial forces on Reledus, Thelam was the leader of the main forces stationed in Belethian land. When he was hailed after the landing was a success, he rendevoused with Pearl in Black-Eye Fortress with his thousand man force. During this time, Pearl was still but a commander of the landing forces meaning that Thelam outranked her, even though Pearl was a born Lowvire, princess and commander her own army.
The following months for the pair were terbulent with each constantly wishing to control the other (thankfully, this led to each trying to outdo eachother in the war than trying to undermine another), but was settled when word came from the homeland that Pearl was to be promoted to Viceroy.
Thelam is the chief of military affairs in Reledus acting directly under the Viceroy. He leads the biggest armies, mounts the greatest offensives and hatches the most tactically advantageous plans.
