Mary is the spoiled brat of a child of Lord Casper Bellweather. She is the head of a clique of noble girls who fancy themselves the future rulers of Yartar, either directly or through manipulation (most river barons are female, as they more easily gain the support of the Hand of Yartar).
She embarrassed and insulted Pinna Gravesford, who retaliated with magic. Later, the two made up, and at a sleepover at the inn Pinna was at, she broke open the liquor in the suite and got drunk, and then hit Pinna's golem with the bottle while insulting it, activating its defenses and it absorbed her, breaking her body down into components instantaneously after breaking her neck. The golem is now acting as a perfect copy of her.
